Rearing With Puppy Culture

This renowned & progressive program was developed by Jane Killion a professional dog trainer and breeder.

It is a comprehensive and organized program for breeders to follow during the first weeks of development in a puppy’s life. This time period covers the first 12 weeks. It has the greatest impact for social development, making it a very important and impressionable time for the pups and handler alike.

There are key developmental stages to capture including the Prenatal, Neonatal, Transitional, and Critical period. These stages address early exposure to communication, emotional stability, habitation, enrichment, health, skills and love.

The Puppy Essentials Program

McCann Dogs Training

We are not only a breeder, we are also pet owners. All our dogs and their pups live with us and are an active part of our day to day living. As such we have taken the time to learn good handling and training techniques from several resources. We closely follow the course as outlined by McCann Dogs. Starting with the Puppy Essentials program (12 weeks to 6 months) and continuing on to the Life Skills program (adulthood).

For more information visit www.mccanndogs.com or check out their education material on YouTube.

We are here for you and our dogs all the way!
